Yvonne A.W. de Kort is a Full Professor of Environmental Psychology and Chair of Human-Technology Interaction at TU/e's Department of Industrial Engineering and Innovation Sciences. She serves as Vice Dean and leads the Sound Lighting research program at the Intelligent Lighting Institute, alongside managing the Mental Health program at the Center for Humans and Technology. Her research focuses on lighting's impact on human functioning, integrating psychology, chronobiology, and neuroscience to develop human-centric lighting solutions. Key areas include circadian rhythm effects, workplace lighting optimization, and virtual reality applications for light testing.
Education: PhD in Environmental Psychology from TU/e (university affiliation).
