Yvonne Hartinger

Yvonne Hartinger is an Adjunct Professor of Voice at Mozarteum University (since 2013) and Senior Lecturer for Voice at the University of Miami Frost School of Music at Salzburg, Salzburg Institute of Gordon College, and Kentucky Institute of International Studies in Salzburg. She serves as Artistic Director of Salzburg Chamber Music Concerts since 2019 alongside her husband, tenor Virgil Hartinger.

• Initial studies in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Her artistic career spans operatic roles (L'Incoronazione di Poppea, Les Contes d'Hoffmann, Beethoven's Ninth), oratorio works (Handel's Messiah, Bach's Christmas Oratorio), and vocal chamber music through participation in the Marlboro Music Festival. She specializes in diverse genres including Baroque, classical, and contemporary repertoire.

Her teaching focuses on voice pedagogy and music education through the Orff Institute. She collaborates with renowned artists such as Robert McIver, Benita Valente, and Richard Miller, and has performed across Houston, Natchez, Baton Rouge, and Ohio Light Opera venues.
