Yvonne Franz is a Senior Lecturer and Postdoc Researcher at the Department of Geography and Regional Research (University of Vienna), with dual affiliation to the Department of Sociology. She directs the postgraduate program Cooperative Urban and Regional Development, serves as vice director of geography studies, and coordinates the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Urban Studies (4CITIES). As a core member of the Urban Futures research platform, she investigates multi-scalar urban transformation, focusing on neighborhoods, gentrification, super-diversity, and social innovation.
