Yves Brousseau is an Associate Professor at the Department of Geography, Faculty of Forestry, Geography and Geomatics, Laval University. His expertise lies in mapping and geographic information systems (GIS), with a focus on statistical mapping techniques.
Current research includes heatwave vulnerability mapping funded by the Société canadienne d'hypothèque et de logement (2023-2025). He supervises Master's students such as Mathilde Giguère and has previously guided Jade Talbot.
