Yuriko Senoo

Yuriko Senoo is an Adjunct Professor in the Entertainment Design program at ArtCenter College of Design since 2018. She is a seasoned animation professional with over three decades of experience as a feature animation character animator and animation supervisor. Her career includes key roles at Disney Feature Animation (1993–present), DisneyToon Studios, and Sony Pictures Animation, where she supervised major films like Tangled, Bolt, Secret of the Wings, and The Star. In parallel, Senoo co-produced the documentary Message From Hiroshima (2017) with director Masaaki Tanabe to promote peace through storytelling.

Her expertise spans animation supervision, character design, and cross-disciplinary projects blending entertainment with social advocacy. She continues to contribute to feature animation productions while teaching the next generation of designers.
