Yuri Masnyj is Assistant Dean and Adjunct Professor at Cooper Union's School of Art. A 1998 Cooper Union graduate, he creates drawings and installations exploring architectural spaces and object symbolism.
His artistic research investigates how spatial arrangements convey human experience, using austere forms and personal iconography. Masnyj's work appears in major collections including MoMA and the Whitney Museum.
He has taught drawing at Cooper since 2007 and contributes to academic administration as Assistant Dean.
