Yunfeng Zhang

Yunfeng Zhang is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the University of Cincinnati, Department of Mathematical Sciences. He holds a PhD from UCLA (2018) under advisors Rowan Killip and Monica Visan, and prior degrees from Tsinghua University (B.S., 2012). His research focuses on harmonic analysis on Lie groups, dispersive PDEs, and related fields like analytic number theory and eigenfunction concentration on manifolds.

Key research areas include Fourier restriction problems on compact Lie groups, Strichartz estimates for Schrödinger equations, and nonlinear PDE analysis on symmetric spaces. Notable work includes establishing well-posedness for nonlinear Schrödinger equations on product manifolds and exploring equicontinuity properties of mKdV solutions in modulation spaces.
