Dr. Yundan Gong is a Reader in Development Economics at King's College London's Department of International Development, part of the School of Global Affairs. She holds a PhD from the University of Nottingham and previously worked as a Senior Lecturer at Brunel University and Aston Business School, along with a Research Fellowship at the University of Nottingham's Department of Economics. Her research focuses on development economics, firm-level responses to globalization, innovation, and FDI implications for emerging economies. She combines academic rigor with industry insights through her roles as an angel investor and advisor to startups.
