Yunchang Liang

Dr. Yunchang Liang is a researcher at the Max Planck-EPFL Laboratory for Molecular Nanoscience and Technology and the Institute of Physics (IPHYS) at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland. His work focuses on operando nanoscale characterization of catalysts for oxygen evolution reactions.

• Research Interests: Catalysis, Nanotechnology, Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Surface Science, Transition Metal Oxides. His studies explore Fe-doped Ni oxide catalysts, fragmentation mechanisms, and dynamic active site formation in 2D materials.
• Collaborations: Collaborated with Prof. Magalí Lingenfelder and Prof. Xile Hu on advanced electrocatalytic material characterization.
• Publications: Authored key studies on oxygen evolution reaction enhancements via island fragmentation and dual active site creation in transition metal oxides.
