Yukun Ma is an Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester, with a joint appointment in the Goergen Institute for Data Science. He joined in July 2024 after completing his Ph.D. in Economics at Vanderbilt University.
Research Interests:
- Robust inference for clustered data
- Machine learning and high-dimensional methods
- Weak identification in IV regression
Scientific Awards:
- Best Student Paper Award at the 2023 Midwest Econometrics Group (MEG) Conference
