Yukun Liu is the William H. Meckling Associate Professor of Finance at the Simon Business School, University of Rochester. His research focuses on asset pricing, fintech, artificial intelligence/machine learning, and labor economics. He has developed the first Financial Technology (FinTech) course at Simon Business School and has received multiple teaching awards.
- PhD in Economics from Yale University
- BA in Economics and Mathematics from Cornell University
Liu's research bridges quantitative finance with emerging technologies, particularly AI applications in financial markets and labor dynamics. His work has been recognized through prestigious awards including the Q-Group Jack Treynor Prize, Blackrock Applied Research Award, and WFA Cubist Systematic Strategies Award.
