Yuichiro Sato is an Assistant Professor (non-tenure-track) at the Global Education Center. He teaches undergraduate mathematics courses, including Optimization Problems, Calculating Interest, and Linear Algebra, across multiple quarters in 2025.
Research Interests: His work focuses on theoretical physics and differential geometry, particularly extending vacuum Einstein equations to higher-dimensional spacetime. Collaborating with Takahisa Amemiya of Hokkaido Information University, he classified Ricci-flat left-invariant Lorentz metrics into three types, deriving necessary/sufficient conditions for their existence. This includes constructing higher-dimensional analogs of 4D Petrov solutions and identifying significant differences in odd-dimensional cases, with implications for relativity and particle physics.
