Yuenjung Joo, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Early Childhood Education and Director at the Institution of Child Development within the Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education at the University of Oklahoma. She holds a doctoral degree in Child, Youth and Family Studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. With nine years of experience as a teacher and director in early childhood education in South Korea and the U.S., her work bridges research and practice.
Her research focuses on enhancing early childhood classroom quality through teacher-child interactions in child-led settings, early childhood teacher beliefs, and social-emotional learning interventions. She is actively involved in professional development initiatives for educators.
