Yue Lu

Yue Lu is an Assistant Professor of Molecular Pharmaceutics and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Utah. Their work at the Lu Digital Pharmaceutics (DigiPharma) Laboratory focuses on integrating spatial omics, extracellular vesicle analysis, and microfluidic devices to advance cancer immunotherapies and personalized medicine.

• Education: B.S. from Nanjing University, Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Research spans Systems Biology, Nanoengineering, and Drug Delivery Systems, with emphasis on Cancer Immunotherapy, Health Monitoring Devices, and Extracellular Vesicles as biomarkers. Publications highlight 4D electron microscopy for immune cell dynamics, liquid metal nanoparticles for targeted therapies, and bioresponsive materials for controlled insulin delivery.
