Yu Yang

Dr. Yu Yang is an Assistant Professor and Graduate Advisor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta (2011) and completed postdoctoral research at the University of Alberta and MIT (2011–2015). His expertise lies in process control and optimization for large-scale chemical systems, with a focus on integrating renewable energy technologies like solar, hydrogen, and electric vehicle infrastructure.
