Dr. Yu Liu is an Assistant Professor in the School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology. She received her PhD in International Management Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas, along with degrees from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in strategic management and industrial engineering.
Her research examines how entrepreneurial firms attract resources at various growth stages, focusing on digital entrepreneurship, venture capital, and IPOs. She has published in Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice and Journal of Leadership & Organizational Studies, with work exploring gender effects in IPOs and founder CEO impacts on risk-taking.
