Yu-Fang Cho is a Professor in the Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies department at the University of Oregon, affiliated with the Schnitzer School of Global Studies and Languages. Their scholarship bridges transnational feminist theory, decolonial frameworks, and critical analyses of U.S. imperial formations in Asia and the Pacific.

Cho’s research focuses on transdisciplinary methodologies to examine intersecting social inequities rooted in U.S. imperialism, including comparative racialization, reproductive and sexual politics, and ecological imaginaries. Their work spans cultural histories of deviance to contemporary nuclear militarism and climate justice.
Recent projects include the Oregon Water Futures Collaborative and partnerships with UO’s Environment Initiative, Center for Environmental Futures, and Pacific Northwest Just Futures Institute for Racial and Climate Justice. They are an active member of community-engaged research networks.
