Youssef Z. Wadghiri

Youssef Z. Wadghiri is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and Director of the Preclinical Imaging (PCI) Laboratory. He holds a PhD from the University of Lyon-Claude Bernard. His research focuses on advancing molecular and cellular imaging techniques, contrast agent development, and preclinical MRI applications in animal models of human diseases. Key areas include drug delivery systems, nanomedicine, and translational imaging solutions for cancer and liver disorders. Wadghiri's work bridges biomedical engineering, radiology, and physiology to address challenges in disease modeling and diagnostics.

His research interests emphasize MRI innovation, collagen-targeted imaging, and engineered protein systems for therapeutic delivery.
