Youssef M A Hashash

Youssef M A Hashash is the W. W. Grainger Chair and Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Illinois. His research focuses on geotechnical and earthquake engineering, with emphasis on seismic site response analysis, soil-structure interaction, and advanced computational methods like the Discrete Element Method (DEM).
