Youseph Farah

Dr. Youseph Farah is an Associate Professor in International Dispute Resolution at the University of East Anglia's School of Law (International Law Department). He joined UEA in 2016 after teaching at the University of Essex. His expertise spans international commercial arbitration, investment arbitration, and international commercial litigation. He currently directs the UEA Law School's LLM program and coordinates modules on International Commercial Litigation and the Willem C. Vis Arbitration Moot.

Research focuses on international sales contracts, common law, and the intersection of international investment law with human rights. Recent collaborations involve cross-border litigation frameworks and digital rights advocacy. Professional activities include peer reviewing for journals like Womens Studies International Forum, PhD examinations, and speaking engagements at conferences such as the Thai Judicial Training Institute and the 7th Annual Conference on Energy Arbitration in the Middle East & Africa.

His publications (25+ outputs) address topics ranging from arbitrator impartiality under English law to remediation of corporate human rights violations. Active in both academic and practitioner circles, he balances teaching, research, and international advisory roles.
