Youngsun Cho is an Assistant Professor at the Child Study Center and Department of Psychiatry, Yale School of Medicine. She is a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist with expertise in neuroimaging and pharmacologic interventions for psychiatric disorders.

Research Interests focus on the development of cognitive and motivational brain circuits in adolescents with depression and schizophrenia, utilizing fMRI and pharmacologic neuroimaging to explore treatment mechanisms. Her work bridges child development, neuroimaging, and translational psychiatry.
Article Trends reflect interdisciplinary work in neuroimaging, psychosis research, and cognitive neuroscience, with recent studies on ketamine-induced cognitive deficits, habenula function, and global collaborations like the Accelerating Medicines Partnership® Schizophrenia (AMP® SCZ).
