Young-Shin Jun

Young-Shin Jun is a Professor in the Department of Energy, Environmental & Chemical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis, where she leads the Environmental NanoChemistry Laboratory conducting cutting-edge research at the intersection of environmental science and nanotechnology.

She develops novel water purification catalysts and remediation techniques through understanding solid nucleation processes, while advancing biomineralization studies for sustainable material design applicable to water reuse and membrane technologies.
