Yosefa Pessin is an Associate Professor and Program Chair/Director of the Diagnostic Medical Imaging Program at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University’s College of Health Professions. With over 25 years of clinical experience as a certified sonographer (RDMS, RDCS, RVT), she specializes in abdominal, ob-gyn, echocardiography, and vascular ultrasound. Her academic leadership focuses on integrating clinical expertise, educational technology, and simulation into the curriculum.
