Tarik W Michael is an Assistant Professor in the Sonography Department at St. Catherine University, where he has taught since fall 2017. He holds credentials as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with extensive clinical experience including roles as lead Sonographer at Allina Health Services and Medical Director of a hospital.
Education:
- Medical Degree from Kharkov Medical School (1993)
- Sonography specialization at Argosy University of Minnesota and Adventist Medical University of Florida
Teaching & Research: Teaches courses in Abdominal Sonography, OB/Neonatal Sonography, Vascular Sonography, and Medical Physics. Research interests focus on advanced sonographic techniques and clinical applications.
Professional Affiliations: Member of American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS).
