Yonghong Yan

Yonghong Yan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His research focuses on system-level innovations in computer science, particularly in parallel and high performance computing, compiler techniques, and computer architecture.

His research group, the High Performance Computing Architecture and System Lab, explores advanced programming models like OpenMP for heterogeneous and manycore systems, as well as addressing power and memory constraints in modern computing architectures.
