Yong Liu is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Tandon School of Engineering, New York University. He also serves as Director of Graduate Programs and is affiliated with the NYU Wireless and the Center for Advanced Technology in Telecommunications (CATT). Liu holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst (2002). His research focuses on communication networks design, complex systems modeling, and optimization, alongside topics like next-generation networks, overlay networks, and online social network analysis.
