Yoel Beniluz serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an Adjunct Professor at New York University Stern School of Business, with prior teaching appointments at William Paterson University (Sarnat Management School), Ariel University, Florida Atlantic University, and Rutgers Business School – Newark and New Brunswick.
He holds a PhD in Accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, complemented by an M.A. (Magna Cum Laude) and B.A. (Summa Cum Laude) in Economics and Business from Hebrew University. His research focuses on financial accounting systems, financial statement interpretation, managerial cost analysis, complex transaction accounting, and strategic investor communications.
Professionally, Beniluz bridges academia and industry through independent consulting engagements with Andersen and Deloitte, specializing in litigation support, business valuations, economic damages assessment, and expert testimony in accounting/finance matters. His career demonstrates a consistent integration of theoretical frameworks with practical financial advisory work across corporate and legal contexts.
