Dr Yobelli Jimenez is a Lecturer at the University of Sydney, specializing in radiography education and infection prevention in medical imaging. Her work focuses on improving clinical practices, student well-being, and interprofessional education. She leads projects addressing infection control protocols in CT environments and the use of innovative technologies like virtual reality for patient and student education. Current research includes studies on radiographer decision-making, clinical placement alternatives, and podcast-based mental health support for students. She supervises three postgraduate students exploring infection control guidelines and radiography education.
Her research spans over two decades, with grants including a 2023 Seed Grant for infection control studies and a 2021 scholarship for developing a student podcast series.
