Ymkje de Vries is a researcher at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences, within the Developmental Psychology department. Her work focuses on mental health epidemiology, psychiatric treatment efficacy, and methodological critiques of clinical research. She has contributed to studies on comorbid mental disorders, antidepressant effectiveness, and global mental health trends across populations including older adults, children, and LGBTQ+ communities.
