Ylva Backman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health, Education and Technology at Luleå University of Technology, specializing in Education. Her academic work bridges the fields of philosophy and special education, with a particular focus on dialogic approaches to teaching and learning.
Her research interests span dialogic education, philosophical dialogues across various settings, argumentation theory, twice exceptionality (2e), and inclusive education.
