Yinon Cohen is the Yosef Hayim Yerushalmi Professor of Israel and Jewish Studies at Columbia University, affiliated with the Department of Sociology. His research focuses on inequality, labor markets, and immigration, with recent work examining unionization, socioeconomic ethnic and gender gaps, immigration patterns, and the demography of Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank. He is based at the Institute for Israel and Jewish Studies (IIJS) located at 617 Kent Hall, 1140 Amsterdam Avenue, New York, NY 10027.
