Yin WANG

Yin WANG is an Assistant Professor of Accounting and Co-Director of the Master of Science in Accounting (Data & Analytics) program at Singapore Management University's School of Accountancy (SOA). He holds a PhD in Management Science (Accounting) from HEC Paris and was a Visiting PhD Research Scholar at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business. Prior to academia, he worked as a Manager in BNP Paribas' Management Control Department.

His research focuses on disclosure effects, advertising spillover, financial intermediaries, ESG disclosure, and corporate governance, with publications in Contemporary Accounting Research and The Accounting Review. He has received multiple awards, including the AAA FARS Excellence in Reviewing Award and SMU teaching accolades.

• Teaching: Courses include Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Private Equity at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Appointments: Ad-hoc reviewer for top journals, co-advisor for PhD students, and faculty coordinator for ACCT101 Financial Accounting.
• Grants: Singapore MOE Tier 1 Academic Research Fund (2019), SMU Special Research Grant (2018).

Dr. Wang is actively involved in doctoral education and industry partnerships, bridging academic research with practice in areas like digital transformation and ESG. He has lived and worked across China, France, the US, the UK, and Singapore.
