Professor Yin Liao serves as the Director of Research at the Department of Applied Finance and Co-director of the Faculty Research Center on Nature Positive Finance and Business at Macquarie University. She holds a Master in Economics and a PhD in Financial Econometrics from the Australian National University. Her research focuses on FinTech, Household Finance, Sustainable Finance, and Financial Econometrics, with publications in top-tier journals such as Management Science and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis.
