Dr. Yimeng Feng is a Lecturer in Computing (IoT and Networking) at the School of Computing, Macquarie University, Sydney. She also serves as Associate Director of International Engagement in the School. Her research focuses on IoT, Intelligent Transportation Systems, Wireless Sensor Networks, and Service Computing. She holds dual Ph.D. degrees from the University of Technology Sydney and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, with additional academic qualifications from Queen Mary University of London.

Research interests span magnetic sensor-based vehicle monitoring, mmWave radar for environmental sensing, and mobile application development tools. Recent work includes smart road studs for traffic volume detection and multimodal data ecosystems. She has authored 15 peer-reviewed publications and secured grants like the MQ ECR Enabling Scheme (2024). Her work has been recognized with awards such as the 2022 Asian Deans’ Rising Stars in Engineering Workshop.
