Dr. Maged Elkashlan is a Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London, affiliated with the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science. His research focuses on cooperative communication, MIMO systems, cognitive radio, wireless security, millimeter wave communications, and 5G technologies. He leads projects such as the Sensing and Security for Smart IoT (funded by the British Council) and MiMiWaveS (funded by EPSRC). His work emphasizes reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS), FAS (Fluid Antenna Systems), and symbiotic backscatter communication.
