معرفی
Dr. Haonan Hu is a UKRI Guarantee Postdoctoral Fellow in Wireless Communications at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Sheffield. His research focuses on cutting-edge wireless communication technologies including 5G/6G networks, mmWave systems, and reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS). He explores network performance optimization, stochastic geometry modeling, and energy efficiency in heterogeneous and fog radio access networks. His work addresses challenges such as interference coordination, spectrum sharing between NR-U and WiGig networks, and secure communication design.
Dr. Hu's research interests span theoretical modeling and practical applications in wireless networks. Key areas include over-the-air computing in IoT networks, pilot assignment algorithms for cell-free massive MIMO, and the impact of random blockages on mmWave coverage. He has also contributed to understanding trade-offs between small-cell densification and RIS deployment for indoor mmWave coverage enhancement.
His recent publications analyze network coexistence strategies, fairness in spectrum sharing, and reliability in fog-RAN systems. While no specific grants or awards are listed, his active research portfolio demonstrates expertise in emerging wireless communication paradigms.
