Yidan Hu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cybersecurity at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), part of the Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences. She holds a B.E. and M.E. in Computer Science from Hangzhou Dianzi University (China) and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Delaware (2021). Her research focuses on data privacy and cybersecurity, particularly in network and distributed systems, including wireless networks, mobile edge computing, and privacy-preserving machine learning.
