Yicheng Guo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Missouri, Columbia. His research focuses on observational extragalactic astronomy, particularly the formation and evolution of galaxies across cosmic time. He utilizes data from the Hubble Space Telescope and James Webb Space Telescope to study low-mass galaxies, UV-bright star-forming clumps, and the interplay between baryonic matter and dark matter.

Guo’s current projects use JWST to study spiral-like galaxy structures at high redshifts.
