Yichao Xu is a Lecturer at the School of Information Systems & Technology Management within the UNSW Business School at the University of New South Wales. She holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems and Analytics from the National University of Singapore. Her research focuses on platform-based business models, seeking to understand platform-complementor relationships and estimating the business value created through digital technologies. She is also interested in IT professionals’ career patterns and professional identity in the labor market.
