Professor Yi Wang is a faculty member at the University of Birmingham's Department of Electronic, Electrical and Systems Engineering. He leads the Emerging Device Technology (EDT) Research Lab and oversees the Engineering Cleanroom, THz Measurement Suite, and THz Vector Network Analyser Facility. His research focuses on microwave and terahertz passive devices, novel manufacturing techniques, and advanced materials. He has been funded by UK EPSRC, the European Space Agency, the EU, and industry partners. He serves as an Associate Editor for IET Microwaves, Antennas & Propagation and previously chaired the 2021 European Microwave Conference TPC.
