Yi-Ping Ong is an Associate Professor and Director of the Undergraduate Honors Program at the Krieger School of Arts & Sciences, Johns Hopkins University. She holds a faculty position in the Department of Comparative Thought and Literature. Her research bridges literature and philosophy, focusing on 19th- and 20th-century works, existentialism, and ethics in global literature.

- Ethics and justice in contemporary world literature
- Poetics of the novel
