Dr. Yi-Ping Huang serves as Research Professor and founding Executive Director of the Center for Inclusive Excellence at Coppin State University's School of Education. She commands a research portfolio exceeding $25 million in combined funding from state, federal, and private agencies, including multiple large-scale U.S. Department of Education grants spanning 2016-2027.
Her work pioneers educational transformation through credentialing innovation and inclusive pathways. She leads Maryland-wide implementation of Pathways to Professions (P2P) MicroCredentials/MicroResidencies and directs the Stackable Credentials initiative launched in Fall 2023, focusing on accessible professional development frameworks for diverse learners.
Dr. Huang's scholarly output centers on credentialing systems, exemplified by her 2022 edited volume analyzing micro-credentials and inclusive career pathways across higher education and workforce sectors.
