Yi Huang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at UMBC since 2007, specializing in biostatistics with a focus on causal inference and public health. She holds a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from Johns Hopkins University (2007) and has been a key contributor to interdisciplinary research at the interface of statistics and public health/medicine/biology. Her work emphasizes methodological innovation in comparative effectiveness research, personalized medicine, and post-marketing safety evaluations.
