Yi Bei

Dr. Yi Bei is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Surgery at Yale School of Medicine. He holds a PhD in Biology/Genetics from Humboldt University of Berlin (2024) and an MSc in Molecular Medicine from Charité Universitätsmedizin zu Berlin (2018). His research focuses on cancer genomics, therapeutic vulnerabilities in pediatric tumors, and the role of extrachromosomal DNA in oncogenesis. Key contributions include identifying collateral vulnerabilities in cancer through gene co-amplifications and developing targeted therapies for rhabdomyosarcoma and neuroblastoma.
