Prof. Dr. Yeşim AHİ is a distinguished academic at Ankara University Water Management Institute and Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University Faculty of Agriculture, specializing in Integrated Water Management, Agricultural Water Efficiency, and Climate Change Impact on Water Resources. She has held faculty positions since 2000, including Professor (2017-2024) and Associate Professor (2007-2013).

Her research focuses on Artificial Intelligence in Agricultural Water Management, Treated Wastewater in Agriculture, and Plant-Water-Soil-Atmosphere Relations. Recent work includes AI-based reservoir evaporation forecasting and wastewater reuse analysis in Mediterranean agriculture. She has published extensively on irrigation systems, water productivity, and climate change adaptation.
Dr. Ahi’s scientific awards include the ERASMUS-Hungary Postgraduate Teaching Scholarship (2009), Tekirdağ Governorship Certificate of Appreciation (2008), and the Namık Kemal Academic Performance Award (2007). She has supervised 14 PhD and Master’s theses and participated in 15+ international projects, including EU Interreg Next Med’s TAMIRAG and TÜBİTAK initiatives.
She leads the Life Cycle Analysis Training Program on Water Management (2022) and serves on scientific committees for conferences like the European Water Resources Association (EWRA) World Congresses. Her teaching contributions span courses on Water Efficiency, Irrigation Technologies, and Plant-Water-Soil Relations.
