معرفی
Sultan KIYMAZ is a Professor in the Department of Biosystems Engineering at Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, Turkey. She has served as a department head (2012–2020) and focuses on irrigation systems, water quality, and drought stress in crops.
- Education: PhD in Agricultural Structures and Irrigation (Çukurova University, 2006), MSc in Soil and Water Management (Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Bari, 2001), BSc in Agricultural Machinery Engineering (Çukurova University, 1998)
Research Interests: Her work spans agricultural water management, soil salinity, wastewater reuse in irrigation, and crop responses to water stress. Key areas include optimizing irrigation efficiency, assessing groundwater quality, and mitigating drought impacts on legumes and sugar beets.
Recent Article Trends: Recent publications analyze climate change effects on water use, wastewater characterization for irrigation, and drought adaptation in common beans. Methodologies integrate statistical modeling, field trials, and hydrochemical analysis.
- Scientific Awards: TÜBİTAK publication incentives (2015, 2014), BAP project awards (2015)
Advising: Supervised MSc theses on irrigation union performance, wastewater reuse, and water-nitrogen interactions in crops. Collaborated with researchers in Turkey, Italy, and Azerbaijan.
