Yevgeniya Rivers, EdD, serves as Senior Lecturer and Director of Math Zone within the Department of Mathematics and Physics at the University of New Haven's College of Arts and Sciences. With over seventeen years of mathematics education experience, she emphasizes the real-world relevance of mathematics and student learning experiences.
Her academic credentials include:

Dr. Rivers' research centers on student mathematical mindsets, professional development frameworks for academic leaders, and universal design for learning implementation. She investigates how educators can foster positive mathematical identities while addressing systemic barriers in STEM education.
As co-founder and co-director of the All Girls Math Academy (established 2015), she develops programs to increase female participation in mathematics through targeted outreach and mentorship initiatives.
