Yeongho Kim

Yeongho Kim is an Associate Research Scientist in the Department of Cell Biology at Yale School of Medicine. His research focuses on lipid metabolism and cell biology, particularly the interplay between cholesterol and sphingolipid dynamics in Alzheimer’s disease pathogenesis. He holds a PhD in Genetics, Cellular, and Molecular Biology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (2018) and a BS in Life Science from Pohang University of Science and Technology (2012). His postdoctoral work under Dr. Christopher G. Burd explored lipid trafficking and organelle identity mechanisms.
