Yaşar Seçkin is a Lecturer at Gaziantep University, affiliated with the School of Turkish Music and the Department of Turkish Folk Music. He has been active in academic and artistic domains since at least 1993, specializing in Turkish folk music, musicology, and cultural traditions.
