Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yağmur KERSE is currently serving as an Associate Professor at Kafkas University's Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of International Trade and Logistics. She has been with the university since 2016, progressing from Research Assistant to Doctoral Teaching Staff, and now to Associate Professor since 2024. From 2021-2023, she also served as Vice Dean of the Faculty.

Analysis of her recent publications reveals a strong emphasis on digital consumer behavior, particularly examining how psychological factors like FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) influence online purchasing decisions. Her research often employs both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, with a growing interest in meta-analytical approaches to consolidate findings in consumer behavior research.
Dr. KERSE has supervised at least one Master's thesis on political marketing and social media. Her collaborative research network includes colleagues primarily from Kafkas University, with notable collaborations with Kamile Meriç, Alpaslan Yüce, and Levent Gelibolu.
She teaches courses including International Marketing Principles, International Retailing, Logistics Principles, and Marine and Air Transportation at undergraduate level, and International Marketing Management and Logistics Service Marketing at graduate level.
